Procurement Administrator

Purpose Of Position: The person who is responsible for supporting the Purchasing Department in the procurement of materials and services needed for all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing materials, Quotation Enquiries.
• Updating Price Increases file
• Work cross‐functionally with all departments to drive and deliver HSQE principles and commercial objectives.
• Raise and issue Purchase Orders and up‐dating Purchase Change Orders
• Monitor active Orders from placement through to site arrival to prevent shortages or project delays
• Creating and up‐dating Vendor/Sub‐contractor Cards
• Follow up on any Order queries relating to deliveries or other and liaise between suppliers and site contracts.
• Maintain procurement files and purchase agreements to an auditable standard.
• Ensure strict compliance and adherence to our Procurement procedures and policies
• Assist Accounts Payable to sort and reconcile queried invoices and supporting documentation against purchase order terms and conditions
• Working to agreed time scales and deadlines
• Reporting to the Procurement Manager

Skills & Experience

• Administration experience preferable but full training will be provided to suitable candidate
• Experience in the Construction Industry would be an advantage
• Strong organisation and administration skills
• Good computer skills (MS Office/Excel)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‐paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• High Procurement Ethical Standards and Integrity
