Coffey are currently seeking an experienced EICA Supervisor to deliver innovative and challenging project in covering a diverse portfolio of MEICA and Civil works. You will work within our delivery team, who are experienced in successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes, predominately to the Water Industry, across both Treatment Waste and Water schemes.
High levels of motivation and resilience, together with strong technical, quality control and organisational skills are essential for this role. The candidate will have a proven track record as an EICA Supervisor. They will demonstrate integrity, a hard-working ethic and be target focused, whilst embracing the challenges and changes within the industry. The EICA Supervisor will play a key role in the support of a team culture within their team and as part of the company.

Join our dynamic team as an EICA Supervisor, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring quality, safety, and innovation across water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies, and procedures are always adhered to on-site.
- Supervise suppliers, sub-contractors, and site-based staff, including oversight of H&S documentation, quality records, time sheets, and diaries.
- Support project delivery teams in the development and preparation of commissioning test documentation.
- Responsible for delivery, installation, and commissioning of small to large-sized electrical installations, including pumps, VSDs, and controls.
- Carry out QA on MEICA works to ensure quality installations, carry out internal snagging. Identify deficiencies within installations and assist in rectifying them if necessary.
- Conduct initial power-up of MCCs, rotation checks on motors, and I/O point-to-point checks (dry testing).
- Set up instrumentation in the field, scale instrument 4-20 mA signals back to PLC, and calibrate instruments requiring field calibration.
- Carry out testing & commissioning of disinfection equipment (dosing systems / instrumentation / MCC etc). This will involve working alongside CWL Commissioning Manager, Process Engineers, EICA Engineers, electrical sub-contractors, ICA sub-contractors and the project team. As stated above, this will also include QA record sheets.
- Review detailed design in advance of construction, considering constructability and commissioning requirements.
- Assist with procurement, including identifying required materials and occasionally collecting and delivering them to site.
- Carry out site verification testing to assist process engineers in verifying installations and process proving.
- Attend third-party Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) as required, providing acceptance sign-off on behalf of the company.
- Complete all commissioning documentation, including pre-test inspections, commissioning sheets, and SAT documentation.
- Complete preliminary installation checks and provide completion snag lists to mechanical and electrical sub-contractors.
- Work with process engineers to optimise and improve the performance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Proactively review and monitor your own work schedule; ability to work on your own initiative is essential.
- Some wastewater and water process awareness would be beneficial.
- Electrical systems fault finding and recertification.
- Attend necessary courses to maintain required certification and qualifications for professional development.
- Other duties as required.
