About The Role

Definition:

Coffey are seeking a Senior Bid Coordinator to join our experienced tendering team.

The Senior Bid Coordinator will be responsible for managing and producing quality bid proposals including ownership of the tender process, coordination of stakeholders, compilation and submission of tender proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Management:

  • Coordinate, produce and submit the prequalification and tender document within deadlines.
  • Manage client communications with respect to ongoing tenders and pre-qualifications.
  • Analyse prequalification and tender documentation identifying minimum requirements and inputs required, and coordinating input from others, both within and outside the company.
  • Write effective proposal content, which is comprehensive, persuasive and meets the client-specific requirements.
  • Review proposal content received by the wider team, proofreading, providing feedback and editing to ensure a high standard of quality and consistency with the Coffey brand.
  • Recording and analysing feedback on submissions and managing initiatives for improvement.

    Department Administration:

  • Develop and maintain a “Bid Library” of documentation and records to assist with the efficient and consistent production of prequalification and tender submissions.
  • Monitoring tender portals and databases, identifying and assessing potential opportunities.
  • Maintain the tendering department registers.
  • Assist with tendering department reporting requirements.

    Team Support

  • As a Senior Bid Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the wider Bid Coordination Team including tender reviews, PQQ reviews and peer support

About You

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Knowledge of the processes involved in preparing bid documentation
  • Experience working in the Construction/Engineering/Water Industry
  • Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering bid/proposal documents.
  • Excellent technical writing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in the Irish and UK public and private tendering environment.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and experience in tender portals and software
