About The Role

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented graduate Data Analyst with a passion in data visualisation, artificial intelligence and reporting using Power BI. The postholder will support the business by transforming data into meaningful insights, building dashboards, and leveraging AI techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to learn, develop analytical skills, and grow within a data-focused career path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business to collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Drive improvements and increase level of understanding of data structure and integrate multiple/ complex data sets.
  • Develop and maintain interactive live Power BI dashboards and reports to visualise key business metrics.
  • Translate business requirements into data models, reports, and insights.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Enable data validation, testing, and documentation.
  • Where appropriate use AI in the process to assist with data validation, testing, and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement to drive data driven decision making.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests and provide insights to aid decision-making.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in data visualisation, analytics, and BI tools.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree - Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships and explain technical insights
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work in a team-oriented environment.

Desirable Criteria

  • Courage to challenge status quo when driving innovation
  • Some travel required across Coffey sites
  • Some understanding of construction industry
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases (preferred).
