Coffey are seeking qualified candidates for the role of HSQE Manager to lead and support a team across the delivery of projects in Ireland. The role will be supported by the HSQE Director.
Job Specification/Role Responsibilities:
The role will require the successful candidate to:
- Lead the HSQE team and support our project delivery teams in delivering projects and continually improving our Business Management Systems.
- Provide professional support and advice to site management teams and staff on HSQE matters, including legislative and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate all relevant HSQE documentation required, from project start up to project completion.
- Consult with the project delivery teams and others to identify significant areas of risk, develop and document measures to control and reduce risks to an acceptable level.
- Assist the site management teams in reviewing relevant documentation (direct and subcontractor) prior to commencement on site and as the works progress.
- Review and coordinate consultation sessions.
- Coordinate and carry out site inspections with site teams, identify initiatives to improve performance and assist in addressing opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate learning reviews, produce relevant reports, advise and implement applicable recommendations.
- Assist and collaborate with the clients' representatives, other stakeholders and relevant external bodies (e.g. enforcing agencies) and contribute to client and external site inspections and audits.
- Lead monthly review sessions with the client to review progress and areas for continual improvement.
- Produce periodic HSQE reports as required and submit to relevant stakeholders.
