Project Engineer

At Coftec, we are pioneering the future of water and wastewater treatment through advanced modular (off-site) builds. We are looking for a driven Project Engineer to join our Ireland team. In this role, you won't just be processing paperwork; you will be partnering directly with our experienced Project Managers to design, manufacture, and deliver cutting-edge products for the Irish market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborative Design & Build: Play an active role in transforming engineering concepts into tangible modular products, overseeing the lifecycle from initial design to final factory manufacturing.
• Project Delivery: Partner closely with the Project Management team to ensure off-site builds are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the exact specifications of our Irish clients.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Act as a vital link between our internal design engineers, production staff, and supply chain partners, ensuring a collaborative and highly efficient manufacturing environment.
• Quality Champion: Take pride in the end product by supporting rigorous quality control and continuous improvement initiatives on the factory floor.
• Technical Problem Solving: Address manufacturing and design challenges proactively, bringing fresh ideas to optimize our off-site build processes.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and an appetite for learning and growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of engineering experience. Backgrounds in water/wastewater, manufacturing, or off-site construction are a distinct advantage.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills liaising between design teams and production staff.
• A highly motivated team player who takes ownership of their work.
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
• Authorised to work in Ireland.
